Dahlia Dinnerplate Fleurel

Dahlia Fleurel is a magnificent white “dinner plate” variety that has a touch of cream in the center.   Reliable and enduring it continues to be celebrated as a classic white dinnerplate dahlia.

The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil.  In Eastern Canada this typically means early June.  For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time.  Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
