Kaufmanniana Tulips

The Kaufmanniana tulips are named after the Russian botanist Kaufmann. This variety of tulip is known for its cup-shaped flowers with pointed petals that open wide resembling the graceful forms of the waterlily.  A very  early spring bloomer consider planting early blooming narcissus such as February Gold or Crocus.
