Puschkinia var. Libanotica is commonly known as Striped Squills.  Each flower stem has at least 15-20 small star shaped white to light blue flowers. It blooms at the same time as Scilla and Chionodoxa.  This variety is a very early bloomer.  Puschkinia is a great addition to any garden.  Plant in large groups or in clumps to achieve a wave of colour.  The bees will thank you.  If left undisturbed it will naturalize over time.
