Dahlia ‘Sweet Nathalie’ is a beloved decorative variety known for its soft blush-toned blooms that blend creamy ivory with delicate pink.  The fully double flowers have a refined romantic look making them especially popular for wedding and bouquet work.  Growing on sturdy, medium-tall plants, it blooms reliably from midsummer to frost and brings an elegant, pastel charm to any garden setting.

The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil.  In Eastern Canada this typically means early June.  For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time.  Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
