Collection: Elephant Ears (TAro) Aloccasia and Colocasia

Colocasia and Alocasia are dramatic foliage plants prized for their bold, architectural leaves that bring an instant tropical feel to gardens and containers.  Colocasia, often called “elephant ears,” typically features large, heart-shaped leaves that point downward and thrive in moist to wet conditions. Alocasia, by contrast, has more upright, arrow-shaped leaves with striking veining and a sculptural stance, preferring well-drained soil and slightly drier conditions. Both offer lush, exotic texture and make stunning focal points in shaded to partially sunny spaces.
