Dahlia ‘Rhubarb Custard’ is a charming variety that features creamy yellow blooms brushed with warm raspberry-pink toward the petal tips, creating a soft, dessert-inspired blend of colours.   Its medium-to-large, fully double flowers stand out beautifully in the garden and make excellent cut blooms.  This dahlia brings a sweet, cheerful touch to borders, beds, and bouquets.

The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil.  In Eastern Canada this typically means early June.  For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time.  Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.

Shipping begins in late March, weather permitting.
