Dahlia La Belle Epoque-New

Dahlia ‘La Belle Epoque’ is a sophisticated variety admired for its elegant blend of muted dusty rose, and antique caramel tones that shift beautifully with the light. The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil.  In Eastern Canada this typically means early June.  For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time.  Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
