Dahlia ‘L.A.T.E.’ delights with soft peach and apricot tones that deepen and shift as the season moves on becoming more captivating with every bloom.  Its fully double flowers sit on strong stems, making it an excellent choice for borders and cutting.  A standout in any garden, this dahlia adds rich depth and striking drama to late-summer and autumn plantings.

The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil.  In Eastern Canada this typically means early June.  For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time.  Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
