Dahlia ‘Hamari Gold’ features stunning large blooms (8-10") with frilly, ruffled petals saturated in rich golden tones.  Each flower glows with vibrant warmth making it an eye-catching addition to borders, beds, and cut-flower arrangements. Bold and bright, this variety brings a radiant touch to the garden from midsummer to frost.

The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil.  In Eastern Canada this typically means early June.  For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time.  Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
