Dahlia Dinnerplate Shiloh Noelle

Dahlia ‘Shiloh Noelle’ is a breathtaking dinnerplate dahlia known for its enormous, soft blush-pink and cream petals that swirl into elegant ruffled blooms. Often reaching 20-25 cm (8–10"), each flower has a delicate romantic presence that shifts gently in tone with the light.  Growing on tall, sturdy plants, it makes an exceptional cut flower and brings a dreamy, luxurious feel to borders and summer bouquets from midsummer to frost.

The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil.  In Eastern Canada this typically means early June.  For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time.  Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.  They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
