Crocosmia

Crocosmia, also known as Montbretia, is a striking perennial with vibrant tubular flowers in shades of orange, red, yellow, and coral. Blooming in late summer to early fall, its arching foliage and tall, slender stems (60–90 cm) add bold colour when many other plants are fading.

It thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained, fertile soil. Relatively hardy, it may need winter protection in colder areas, relying on a thick blanket of snow for insulation. Attractive to bees and hummingbirds, Crocosmia is a favourite for brightening gardens and bouquets alike.
