Fritillaria Persica Purple Dynamite - 3 bulbs

Fritillaria Persia Purple Dynamite is a special cultivar with very shiny, almost metallic, grape purple, bell-shaped flowers on tall spikes becoming purple-black with age.  They bloom a couple weeks later than their Imperial Crown cousins. Plant with Tulips City of Vancouver, Dordogne and Narcissus Cheerfulness.  It was the hit, the star of the show at the 2026 Keukenhof in the Netherlands.

Similar to lily bulbs the fritillaria bulbs should be planted sideways to prevent the stem hole from collecting and trapping water that could cause bulb rot.  Early blooming the fritillaria prefers to be planted in well drained loamy soils and in full sun.  Deer and rodent resistant.
