 Allium His Excellency is tall and majestic standing upright.  This variety of  Allium sports a large globe shaped flower measuring  5" (12cm) round, tightly packed with hundreds of small star shaped violet-blue flowers. Long lasting, easy to grow, Alliums are valued for their easy care, long lasting blooms and ability to return year after year with minimal maintenance making them a popular choice for the garden.  Alliums bloom in late spring to early summer attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies.  A hardy plant that can with stand a range soil conditions.  Consider planting Alliums with Camassia's and Nectroscordum Siculus.
