Allium Christopii or commonly known as 'Star of Persia" has an elegant star-shaped silvery purple flower forming a large globe shaped cluster approximately 8" (20 cm) wide purple star shape flowers.  Long lasting, easy to grow,  Alliums are valued for their easy care, long lasting blooms and ability to return year after year with minimal maintenance making them a popular choice for the garden.  Alliums bloom in late spring to early summer attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies.  A hardy plant that can with stand a range soil conditions.  Consider planting Alliums with Camassia's and Nectroscordum Siculus.
