Dahlia ‘Peaches’ is a soft and romantic variety known for its warm pastel peach and blush pink tone blooms that glow beautifully in the garden. The fully double flowers have a smooth, rounded form and are produced abundantly on sturdy, medium-height plants. Used by many florist for wedding bouquets. Blooming from midsummer to frost, this variety adds gentle pastel charm to borders and makes a lovely addition to cut-flower arrangements.
The key to growing healthy dahlias is planting them in warm soil. In Eastern Canada this typically means early June. For a head start you can pot up the tubers in mid to late April and keep them indoors until planting time. Dahlias thrive in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. They begin blooming in mid-July and continue right up until the first frost. These plants make excellent cut flowers and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
Shipping begins in April, weather permitting.
