Canna Variegated Red Tiger

Canna ‘Variegated Red Tiger’ is a striking canna variety known for its bold striped foliage and vibrant red blooms. Its eye-catching leaves feature vivid green and yellow variegation creating a tropical look even before the flowers appear. The bright red blossoms stand tall above the foliage adding dramatic colour and height to garden beds or containers. 

Canna lilies are easy, rewarding plants that thrive in warm, sunny conditions. They grow best in full sun, rich, well-drained soil, and with consistent moisture especially during hot weather. Plant rhizomes after the danger of frost has passed, placing them about 10-15 cm  deep and spaced 30-40 cm apart. Cannas benefit from regular watering and a balanced fertilizer to encourage lush foliage and abundant blooms. Deadheading spent flowers helps prolong the display and in colder climates, the rhizomes should be lifted and stored indoors for winter once frost has killed back the foliage.
