‘Queen of the Night’ and its sport ‘Black Hero’ are my two favorite tulips. I’ve seen others compare this tulip with ‘Paul Scherer’ but the two are very different. ‘Queen of the Night’ is a dark, sumptuous, sophisticated black purple, while ‘Paul Scherer’ is a bit earlier and much more of a red purple. Still nice, but can’t hold a candle to ‘Queen of the Night’, in my opinion. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. You won’t be disappointed. Also, the price and quality of the bulbs I’ve received from flowerbulbsrus.com is incomparable. Very healthy, very large, incredible price. I’ve received 2 orders already and just placed a 3rd totaling hundreds of bulbs with absolutely zero complaints.
