Amaryllis

Flowerbulbsrus.com only sell top size bulbs. Huge 34+cm bulbs. Guaranteed minimum of 2 stems.  Some bulbs produce 3-4 stems of flowers! Amaryllis are beautiful with a very unique flower which starts from a bulb and usually sends up a tall flower stalk prior to the leaves. Plant the bulb, pointed-end-up, in potting mix and gently pack soil around the bulb so approximately one-third of the bulb sits above the soil line. Water regularly and remember to rotate the pot periodically to encourage a straight stalk. Most varieties will begin blooming six to eight weeks after planting. Amaryllis come in an assortment of colours making a big statement! They make great gifts at Christmas time!
